When entering this hotel’s section of the Executive Rooms, don't forget to look up! You will realize that this stone building was once a church and at the end of the corridor you can still identify the vaulted shape of the shrine of the church, which today has been transformed into an indoor small garden with running water! The lamps on the ceiling of the corridor are lanterns, copies of those that previously existed in the temple! The bell tower of the church to the right of the entrance was turned into a small chapel, in memory of the one who envisioned this hotel, from the revival of the ruins that once dominated both the hill and Varos village itself.
